The parting of  is Curt Emmer playing treated piano, cello, various percussive and atmospheric samplers.  Singles and albums written, produced, and mastered by Curt in the attic.  

 

Cover designs for In Memory's Bend and Unharmed are wet plate collodion images on aluminum plates by Curt, digitally manipulated for use on the single and the album.  Design for Yellowknife is a digital photo from an aircraft as we approached the city of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada, digitally manipulated for release.  The Saturnine cover is a highly distorted image of a digital photograph.   Closed or Open  is a digital photo negative taken from Governor Dodge State Park, Wisconsin.  The image for Umbra is a cyanotype print, digitally color shifted to shades of grey and the blackest shadow.
